Hublot launches an Ibiza Special Edition on a magical night at Ushuaïa Tower

Friday, 21 July 2017 – Hublot lands in Ibiza, an island measuring 41 km north to south and 15 km west to east. Known worldwide as “Eivissa”, this island is famous for its wonderful beaches, crystal-clear waters and famous nightclubs that attract thousands of travellers during the summer season. Ibiza has a bold, innovative free spirit and shares the same values as Hublot: continuous search for the new, always maintaining its origins and respect for tradition.
There could be no better place to present the new Classic Fusion AeroFusion Chronograph Special Edition Ibiza than the Ushuaïa Tower, a place for fashion and the undisputed hub of the island. As a symbol of modernity and authenticity, it is the perfect partner for this inauguration.
To celebrate this union, Hublot presents the new Classic Fusion AeroFusion Chronograph. Beneath its sky-blue skeletonised dial, the Hublot HUB1155 automatic movement has a power reserve of 42 hours. With a diameter of 45 mm, its case and bezel are presented in a new blue ceramic evoking the colours of the Mediterranean, the sky and the sea. At the seconds counter at 3 o’clock, instead of the typical hand, there is the famous peace symbol representing the hippies who came en masse in the 1960s and is now the emblem of the island. It is presented in a Limited Edition of 50 timepieces, numbered as “1 of 50”, and with the Hublot Loves Ibiza symbol engraved on the sapphire crystal at the bottom of the case.
