November 16th, Bangkok: PMT THE HOUR GLASS, an exclusive distributor of Hublot Swiss luxury sport watches, celebrated “The Art of Fusion” the brand’s very DNA in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to being a leader in the art of fusion, Hublot is also considered the first luxury watch brand to play a role in the world of sports, especially the world of football, both in the capacity of a sponsor of leading football clubs in world class leagues as well as of the official timekeeper of the UEFA Champions League and the
FIFA World Cup.
Last April, Buriram United Football Club, a famed football club in Thailand and Asia, joined with Chang International Circuit, Thailand’s only international standard auto racing course, to announce a collaboration with Hublot, naming the Swiss luxury sport watches from LVMH as its official watch and official timekeeper. At the same time, the event saw the unveiling of Hublot Big Bang Unico Limited Edition watches, marking the first Hublot project with a football club in Southeast Asia.
On the evening of Thursday, 16 November, business partners of PMT THE HOUR GLASS, the official distributor of Hublot timepieces in Thailand, hosted a dinner party at the Gaysorn Crystal Box on the 19th floor of Gaysorn Urban Resort. The event marked the first time a business partner had the honour of hosting an exclusive dinner in the Gaysorn Village building.
Narun Thamavaranukup, Managing Director of PMT THE HOUR GLASS, distributor of Hublot watches, said, “The most important aim of this function is to celebrate the brand’s philosophy, embodied by ‘The Art of Fusion’, which is Hublot’s well known slogan. In addition, Hublot considers this special occasion as an opportunity to express congratulations to Buriram United Football Club once again for its championship win in the Thai league for five seasons, as well as to unveiling and handing over the special ‘Big Bang Unico Retrograde Buriram United’ Limited Edition model with a ceramic case, which has been produced for Buriram United in the limited edition of 30 units.”
The setting of the evening function, in addition to the special entertainment provided by songstress Grace Karnklao Duaysianklao who serenaded the guests, included a special fashion show under the concept of The Art of Fusion. There were five footballers from the Buriram team, including Diogo Luís Santo, Police Sub-Lieutenant Narubadin Weerawatnodom, Jakkaphan Kaewprom, Chitipat Tanklang and Koravit Namwiset, who served as honorary models that walked alongside professional female models. The uniqueness of Hublot lies in its luxury sport performance that brings together luxury and innovation through an unconventional fusion of creativity and artistry. There is no surprise that Hublot has always created an element of surprise in the watch industry, and the fashion show that evening showcased various elements of the collection, including materials and innovation, that were unveiled at Baselworld 2017, from the Big Bang Unico Sapphire family, with entire cases comprised of sapphires, to Big Bang Unico Mega-10 Magic Gold case, which is Hublot’s special scratch-resistant gold formulation with a power reserve of up to 10 days.
Moreover, there was an auction for the special Big Bang Unico Retrograde Buriram United King Gold Limited Edition watch with a case made of King Gold, which has been only produced two pieces; on the back of the watchcase are the numbers 0/30 and 00/30. During the auction, one of these watches had a starting bid of 999,999 baht; the auction ended at 1,450,000 baht with Khun Pantira Chatjuthamas making the winning bid. A portion of the proceeds from the auction was set aside to support a foundation for
needy children in Buriram province.
On this occasion, PMT THE HOUR GLASS, represented by Narun Thamavaranukup, also donated 500,000 baht to support the charitable cause. The evening was topped off by an after party with DJ Karn who came to join the festivities and create a happy, fun setting for the fans of Hublot and Buriram United well into the night.

Buriram International Circuit or Chang International is Grade 1 certified by the FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) for Formula 1 races, and Grade A certified by the FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme) for MotoGP races. The race track was officially launched on 4 October 2014. Several world-class events have taken place here since, including the Super GT Championship, the World Touring Car Championship and the World Superbike Championship. This modern race track is the quickest to build in the world, requiring only 422 days in total. Within the distance of 4.554 kilometers, there are 12 bends (seven right bends and five left bends). The maximum speed possible is 315 kilometers per hour, with the maximum bend speed being 280 kilometers per hour. An impressive feature of this track is the design where all spectators can see every bend at all times during a race.
