Once again proof of his talent, the man who is still undefeated following Saturday’s intense match at Madison Square Garden, 37 victories in 37 fights, joins the Hublot team of ambassadors.

His initials have earned him the nickname of “Triple G.” Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin is a professional boxer from Kazakhstan and current middle weight world champion in four different federations: WBA, WBC, IBO and IBF. His record speaks for itself: 37 victories, of which 33 by K.O., and zero defeats! On Saturday March 18th, the “Kazakh Thunder” – his other nickname – held, for the first time, the Hublot flag high during what was a memorable fight at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City. He was victorious against American boxer Daniel “The Miracle Man” Jacobs and displayed the Hublot logo on his shorts. On this special occasion, the brand logo was also prominently featured in the center of the ring!
From fist to wrist, only a couple of inches, GGG will no doubt be “on Hublot time” with the three special Hublot models presented for the announcement of this new partnership.
The first model is a King Power UNICO Special Edition Gennady Golovkin. Its 48mm case houses the UNICO manufacture movement with a power reserve of 72 hours. The case and the bezel are made out of Hublot’s famous black ceramic. The blue internal bezel and the yellow indexes provide a touch of colour to the dial, whereas Gennady Golovkin’s initials stand proudly at 12 o’clock and his logo – two gloves banging together – is positioned at 9 o’clock. The sapphire case back is decorated with three golden G letters, as well as the boxer’s signature. A limited edition of only 25 pieces.
The second model, also limited to only 25 pieces, is dressed in the colour of Gennady’s numerous world champion belts: gold! The case, the bezel and the crown are all made out of King Gold, a unique alloy developed by Hublot that provides brightness, durability and hardness. The inner bezel and the indexes’ gold finish match the triple G at 12 o’clock and the boxing gloves at 9 o’clock.
The third model, a unique piece, is quite simply, dazzling. Its King Gold case is set with no less than 248 diamonds for a total of 1,97 carats. The bezel alone has a sparkling crown made out of an additional 48 baguette-cut diamonds (2,40 carats). The triple G and the boxing gloves remain in the same positions as on the other two models.
