Anicorn and designer Jeff Staple have collaborated on Artemis Time, a new automatic NASA watch honoring the American space agency’s project to establish a presence on the moon.
Built around Anicorn’s signature K452 model, the 250-piece limited edition features an ‘A’ logo representing both Anicorn and Artemis. A skeletonized hand indicates minutes while discs represent hours and running seconds.
STAPLE’s signature Pigeon – here in an inverted “zero gravity Space Pigeon” guise – is present too, both on the watch’s fabric strap and on the bezel at the 12 o’clock position.
The matte cool grey bead-blasted surface of the 42mm stainless steel watch is taken from moon rock with “International Orange” highlights – used for spacesuits – picks out on the hour markers, running seconds and crown.
The watch is powered by a Miyota 9015 automatic movement and is presented on a fabric NATO-style strap with embroidered patch.
The STAPLE x Anicorn Artemis Time is available now via Anicorn, priced $780 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, Timex drops stylish survival watch.
