MAD Paris' Custom Rolex Submariner Date “Bumblebee” Is Up For Sale

A Rolex Submariner Date “Bumblee” from independent luxury watch customizer MAD Paris, the company behind the custom Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks for Casablanca and 1017 ALYX 9SM, has come into the spotlight featuring a black and yellow color scheme.

The watch in focus is a preowned piece of the rare last generation 40mm Rolex Submariner Date Reference 116610LN. MAD Paris covers the stainless steel case, bezel insert, and Oyster bracelet in a scratch-resistant matte black DLC coating. The dial receives a black textured finish and indices, hands, date wheel, bezel markers, and “MAD” logo at 6 o’clock display bright pops of yellow for the distinct “Bumblebee” look.  As a final touch, an aftermarket sapphire exhibition caseback provides a view of Rolex’s last-generation in-house 3135 caliber movement.

The custom MAD Paris Rolex Submariner Date “Bumblebee” is now available at Modesens priced between $42,449 and $50,956 USD.
