Following the release of a collaborative Slim d’Hermès dress watch in 2018, watch connoisseurs HODINKEE and Parisian luxury house Hermès come together once again for a playful daily driver, putting a unique spin on the newly introduced Hermès H08.
The H08 collection was first introduced by Hermès as a modern all-terrain watch at Watches & Wonders 2021, and the HODINKEE model is the first special edition version of the “soon-to-be classic.”
The limited-edition H08 features a cushion-shaped 39mm titanium case, a matte black DLC coat and a polished black ceramic bezel. An open case back displays a mechanical self-winding Hermès Manufacture caliber H1837 movement.
The taupe-colored multi-textured dial incorporates custom Hermès rounded numerals, and matching hues are found on the H monogrammed fabric and silicone strap. Details include a titanium butterfly clasp, an arrow-shaped seconds hand that tease the brand’s signature orange, and 100-meter water resistance.
100 numbered pieces of the Hermès H08 Limited Edition for HODINKEE will be produced. The watches are now available for pre-sale exclusively on the HODINKEE webstore at a price tag of $7275 USD. Delivery is expected to begin on October 11.
