New York, May 5, 2025 – ZENITH was proudly featured at the 2025 Met Gala, held at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Embracing this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” the Maison showcased its enduring commitment to precision, heritage, and innovation, bridging timeless Swiss craftsmanship with contemporary cultural expression.

This year’s edition held special significance for ZENITH, as the brand celebrates its 160th anniversary, marking over a century and a half of pioneering spirit and horological excellence. On this occasion, ZENITH was represented on the red carpet by actor and cultural figure Caleb McLaughlin, known for his breakout role in Stranger Things and his growing influence in fashion, music, and youth advocacy, perfectly reflecting ZENITH’s values of excellence, authenticity and forward momentum.

Caleb McLaughlin made a standout appearance wearing the ZENITH DEFY Skyline Sapphire, a striking 41mm timepiece that masterfully combines high-performance watchmaking with refined gem-setting. Crafted in stainless steel with a dodecagonal bezel set with 45 baguette-cut blue sapphires, the watch features a metallic blue sunray-patterned dial embellished with ZENITH’s signature four-pointed star motif. Powered by the El Primero 3620 high-frequency movement, it displays 1/10th of a second at 9 o’clock—directly driven by the 5Hz escapement. It also includes a date display at 3 o’clock and delivers a 60-hour power reserve. With an integrated steel bracelet and a quick-change system, wearers can easily switch to the supplied blue rubber strap.
